Do You Provide QUALITY Customer Service?
Posted on April 8th, 2009 No commentsA few days ago, my wife wanted to go to Goodwill just to see if she could really get a good deal.
As we were there, I really needed to go to the bathroom, so I walked around until I found it.
Unfortunately, it had a sign that read, “We’re Sorry. This bathroom is only for employees. We don’t provide bathrooms for the public.”
I thought to myself, “The Public? What happened to ‘Our Valued Customers’ ?”
This really infuriated me, so I just grabbed my wife, told her to drop everything she had and we walked out.
I’m sorry, but if you’re running an online business and you don’t consider me, your customer, important enough to allow me to use your restroom, then why should I hand over my money to you?
It’s sad that when many places become successful, they lose sight of the fact that it’s the customer who pays the owner’s bills and puts money on the owner’s table. It’s the customer who pays the employee’s salary and makes it possible for the company to be in business.
So ask yourself, “Am I providing my customers quality service and do I see them as gold?… Or am I taking them for granted?”
You see, it doesn’t matter if your business is online or offline, the important thing is your attitude towards the people who are making your success possible… your paying customers.
Make your customers feels special… feel appreciated… and you will earn their business, but most importantly, gain their loyalty for years to come.
Isn’t that worth living for?
Of course it is!
